Antiques The Antiques Roadshow has
everyone buzzing about antiques–so much so that people often become
confused and think every old item is valuable. This course shows the
differences between antiques and collectibles, as well as how to buy,
sell, collect and display them. An overview of antiques from 1830 to
1910 covering furniture, ceramics, glassware, and silver will show
students what to look for in antique shops and in their home.

The difference between antiques and collectibles.
Determining an object’s value.
How to shop for antiques.
Followed by three antiques surveys:

And last, but not least, a show and tell of objects brought
to class by participants to demonstrate what they learned.
